Last year in December, I read a short article here on Cmvlive.com that highlighted Rachel Crow’s elimination from ‘The X Factor’. Rachel Crow didn’t make it into the finals? I was certain that she would make it to the finals. Indeed, millions if people thought the same thing. It was a surprise, given her talent and personality, that she was sent home.
Apparently, Nicole Scherzinger chose to keep Marcus Canty on the show instead of Rachel. This caused an uproar amongst Rachel’s fans. Several people shot Nicole scathing comments for her choice. Nicole, though, is just as human as everyone else. The choices she makes may not all be the right ones, but she certainly does not deserve to be condemned so harshly for this decision. Rachel, undoubtedly, would not want her fans to berate Nicole. Besides, she has already made her mark as a vocal artist.
Rachel made it so far on the show that it would be a sin for her to walk away from it all. It doesn’t matter that she didn’t make it into the finals, Rachel is a star. She is also a role model for young girls, for everyone. Every time she appeared on stage, she was all smiles. Most famous female singers dress suggestively when they perform onstage. But not Rachel. The outfits she wore accentuated her figure and made her look classy.
Rachel Crow was never boastful or negative. She genuinely enjoyed every moment of her experience on the show. Rachel demonstrated to America and to the entire world that dreams do come true, hard word does pay off. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you live, or how rich or poor you are, you can make a difference and you can succeed at anything if you put your mind to it.
Rachel is not a wanna-fit-in-with-the-crowd kind of girl. She marches to her own tune and she abides by the values and morals she is taught at home. These personality traits are what makes her outstanding. This world needs many more people like Rachel Crow.
We can all hope and pray that, as she gets older, she does not alter her personality and her behavior to appease the crowd.
